We believe that your voice should always stay the same whether you are loving or correcting your dog/puppy. Dogs are creatures of habit, so if you only yell when you are correcting them, then they will only listen when you yell but if you keep your voice calm consistently then they will listen to your calm voice. A good example is when you ask your child to go brush their teeth and they don’t, then you ask again a bit louder and they don’t, then you YELL, go brush your teeth, then they know ok she/he is serious and they go brush their teeth. Make sense?
